Teen Anxiety & Stress Management Group
Managing stress and anxiety specifically related to "teen-hood". Ages 14-17.
Topics include (but are not limited to):
- Relaxation techniques (body scan, progressive muscle relaxation, diaphragmatic breathing, etc).
- Self-talk and it effects.
- Body image concerns.
- Self-esteem.
- Peer pressure.
- Mindfulness Skills/Self-acceptance.
- Relationships/assertiveness (parents, peers).
- What feelings/emotions are and how to express them.
