Diana Rodriguez, M.S., LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

A member of the National Board of Certified Counselors, Diana

Rodriguez is committed to being of service to those that are ready to

make a shift in their lives. She believes that “probability” exists in every

individual. If a person wants their life to be different, then a window of

opportunity is open for change. As both a professional counselor and a

hypnotherapist, Diana is proud to have the opportunity to walk with

others down the path of transformation.

Diana uses hypnosis to complement the client’s motivation and assist

them in creating their new behaviors that will bring about the change they

desire. As a hypnotherapist, she believes hypnosis can provide the “gentle push” that can propel clients toward their goals by enabling them to escape repetitive patterns of behaviors and move closer to embracing healthier and greater choices.

Through deep relaxation and focus, hypnotherapy provides clients with the ability to choose new ways of being, doing and thinking without feeling like they are controlled by outside and past experiences. She has utilized hypnosis to assist clients in smoking cessation, weight management, panic attacks, stress, pain management and general anxiety. Diana received her training from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute in CA. She is a member of the National Board of Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists and previously the founder of New Behaviors in Pasadena, CA.

As a counselor, she specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy. Diana received her training from the Atlanta Center for Cognitive Therapy under the guidance of Dr. Mark Gilson. She believes thoughts, underlying beliefs, attitudes and perceptual biases influence our emotions, their intensity and in turn our behaviors. She has used cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients overcome anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, couples counseling and other relationship conflicts.

Diana holds a Masters of Science degree in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University. She is also a member of the American Counseling Association and the Association for Play Therapy. Currently Diana is working as a child, adolescent and family counselor.

Whether through counseling or hypnotherapy, Diana believes that individuals can make significant changes in their lives, particularly with the encouragement and assistance provided by another person. It is her privilege to provide that encouragement and assistance.
