Free Yoga Class

About the class

This class is open to anyone who wants to practice yoga, whether it's your first time or you have a regular practice. The class will include held poses with emphasis on the breath, some vinyasa flow, and a little meditation. This class will also incorporate gentle and compassionate hands-on adjustments. This is important to help students with correct postures and to aid in deepening the experience.

What to bring

All you have to bring is yourself and an open mind. There will be enough mats and props for up to 8 students, but if you have a mat please feel free to bring it. Wear something comfortable and get ready to get barefoot.

Why yoga?

Yoga is a beautiful practice that originated in Inida about 5,000 years ago. Practicing yoga has many wonderful benefits including (but not limited to):

  • Improving strength & flexibility in the entire body
  • Increasing relaxation through conscious release of stress & tension
  • Strengthening the connection between mind, body, & spirit
  • Learning to become more mindful and aware of the present moment
  • And most important, it's a lot of fun!
