Marti Munford is an associate professional counselor at The Anxiety and Stress Management Institute. She holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University and a Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and Post-Partum Support International.
Marti’s areas of interest within the field of counseling include pregnancy and fertility issues, play therapy, OCD, and anxiety spectrum disorders. She works from an integrative perspective and often draws upon her training in Exposure-Response Prevention and Hypnotherapy. Marti believes in a holistic approach that connects mental, physical, and spiritual aspects of her clients’ experiences.
Marti aims to create a warm, accepting space for therapy and is passionate about helping adults and children alike find their strength in difficult life events to form connection, meaning, and balance in their lives.
