Zenith Seixas is a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor at The Anxiety & Stress Management Institute. She obtained her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Georgia State University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Kennesaw State University (summa cum laude). Her array of interests include life adjustments, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, sexuality, and couples counseling (including multicultural couples). Zenith works with adults, couples, and the LGBT community. After moving from Brazil to the United States more than a decade ago, Zenith became interested in acculturation and looks forward to working collaboratively with clients to address their unique concerns.
Zenith's passion for counseling emanates from her desire to help people---to increase independent functioning and self-reliance so that individuals can achieve the fullest and most productive life possible. Zenith pursues excellence in mental health counseling by practicing an integrative approach and views individuals from a holistic perspective. She emphasizes the connection of multiple factors to conceptualize clients and the importance of exploring cognition as well as the purposes of behavior. Zenith has 11 years of experience working with children, in particular, those with ADHD, autism, and defiant traits.
